How are we different? Well, we are documentary-style wedding photographers. The images are unique to your wedding and of course can't be replicated at any other weddings. We don't work with wedding photography lists (ever), or take over your day by bellowing out instructions to you or your guests. You're free to enjoy your day with little or no interruptions.
Most often, these images will be taken without you noticing them happening. Below is a small sample of what we usually capture during your wedding day.

Not all the images are presented in Black and White. We shoot the image in colour. These are then edited on high spec computer with specialist editing software. If I think the image will look better in Black and White, then I convert it to Black and White. Some do look good in its natural colour. Here are a few sample colour images.

OK, you now should have got the idea of what documentary-style photography is all about.
It's capturing the hard to repeat candid moments. Just like a news reporter. That's why it's sometimes also called a Photojournalism style. The images are mostly taken with no reference to the person looking directly into the camera. Like they do in the movies.
Of course, there is always exceptions at any wedding I photograph. If the bride wants some images of themselves and family and friends, Then of course, I will take these for her. I will also take some portraits of your family and friends if they want them. They are often looking their best, so why not. But they will be taken quickly, with minimal interaction or direction from me.
Here is a small sample of these type of images.

Cake cutting is usually the exception that the couple would like posed for. Taken at the Barn in Pembrokeshire.

Most couples who hire me for the wedding are looking for the "hands-off" photographer with minimal interaction from me. Customers are our business, Customer Service is our Priority.
