The wedding guild of Wales was founded in 2013 by a group of suppliers who felt passionate about recommending suppliers who have met the strict criteria for membership.
The Wedding Directory Guild is the leading directory for bridal, wedding and event businesses in Wales.
The group has been formed to provide a platform for suppliers to display their services and products to an audience that includes people planning their weddings.
As well as being an excellent resource for wedding suppliers, the guild will also have many members who will have specialised in the field of weddings, giving the guild a great network of people to help them with their research.
The group has a broad remit that includes suppliers of services such as photography, catering, florists, hairdressers, dress designers, venues and suppliers of products such as jewellery, cakes, tableware, stationery, flowers, and gifts. I think it's fantastic, and I'm delighted to be included as a member of the wedding guild in wales.
The criteria are that they provide a range of services and products for weddings in Wales and have a good reputation for quality, reliability and service. The idea behind the guild is that, as a group, they will be able to collectively recommend suppliers and help them improve their services and products to ensure they are always on the right side of the customer.

It took me nearly four years before acceptance into the guild. There is a waiting list, and the supplier's members are limited for each category.
There is no joining fee. So you can't buy your membership. Membership must be earned to be accepted.
